About the crop production products
The strategic area of Crop Production Products represents the basic activity of the company, since it generates the majority of the company's revenues.
In spite of the aggravated situation and increasing competition in the phytopharmaceutical segment on the one hand, and strengthening of the generic supply on the other, the company has managed to remain the leading supplier of phytopharmaceutical products on the Slovenian market, but it has also increased its market share on the markets of former Yugoslavia through its related companies PINUS Agro d.o.o. and PINUS Plus d.o.o.
A long-standing successful cooperation with the company Bayer CropScience is also continued in the field of formulation, distribution and logistics for Bayer trademarks. Since Bayer CropScience uses the facilities of our logistic and transport warehouse in Rače, the traditionally good cooperation with this leading phytopharmaceutical company has been further strengthened.
However, Bayer is not the only business partner of the PINUS Company. Some products are the result of cooperation with other multinational manufacturers of phytopharmaceutical products. In addition, PINUS was not satisfied merely with licence manufacturing. Since the very beginning, the company has given support to its own research activity, and some other phytopharmaceutical products have been developed, which have been successful on the Slovenian and on the Croatian market.
The company PINUS offers a wide range of modern quality products to its customers; these are integral solutions to a successful pest control, including spraying products for various cultures. Within the product lines offered, which are included in the well-known advisory publication PINUSOV KLJUČ (PINUS' KEY), special attention is paid to phytopharmaceutical products; their application is allowed in integral farming. This is our contribution to the development of modern farming in Slovenia.
